In just four seasons and 66 games, wide receiver Stefon Diggs became the fourth-most productive wideout in Buffalo Bills franchise history with his 5,372 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns. Now, he's another offensive weapon for the Houston Texans . Diggs had signed a four-year contract extension with the Bills in 2022 that was supposed to keep him in Buffalo through the 2027 season. 9/19/24	Texans' Stefon Diggs, C.J. Stroud Had Funny Sideline Exchange During Week 2 Win. Stefon Diggs seems to really like being Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud's new target on the field. In a video captured by NFL Films during Sunday's 19–13 win over the Chicago Bears, Diggs can be seen paying his quarterback a pretty big compliment while talking on the sidelines. However, Diggs admitted he had a small doubt about playing with the second-year quarterback, but Stroud has proved him wrong. "You throw such a friendly ball," Diggs said. The Bills made a seismic roster move this past offseason when they traded star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Texans. Diggs had a tumultuous four seasons in Buffalo filled with highs and lows. He quickly became star quarterback Josh Allen's favorite target upon his arrival, leading the NFL in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535) during his first season in 2020. He registered back-to-back seasons with double-digit touchdowns after that and notched at least 100 receptions and 1,100 yards in all four years with the Bills. However, after regressing in 2023, including falling out with Allen and head coach Sean McDermott, Buffalo's front office decided it was best to part ways with Diggs.
