6/10/24 Recently Demoted Angels Prospect Homers In First Triple-A Game. Los Angeles Angels prospect Kyren Paris made noise when he was promoted to the big leagues. The infielder got the call while playing for Double-A Rocket City and hadn't played a single game in Triple-A. Paris is the first Trash Pandas player this season to earn a call directly to the major leagues, but after his demotion he announced his arrival in Salt Lake with a home run in his first Triple-A game. Paris finished his Bees debut going 2-for-5 with a run scored and a run driven in.

9/19/23 Kyren Paris came up short in his effort to earn a guaranteed Angels roster spot in 2024. The Los Angeles Angels had to promote seven players when rosters expanded in September after they lost five on waivers. Kyren Paris was added to the active roster and had the chance to prove himself as a potential key contributor to the 2024 Angels. Paris, the Angels fifth-ranked prospect per MLB Pipeline, had a strong year for AA Rocket City. While Paris had been walking more, the strikeout numbers were still eyepopping as he fanned 151 times in 415 at-bats.

9/13/23 Angels give rookie infielder Kyren Paris a look in center field. As the Angels limp toward the finish line in this disappointing season, they are experimenting. Kyren Paris got the start in center field Wednesday, even though he had not played a single professional game in the outfield and had only begun working out there “the last couple days,” Paris said. Manager Phil Nevin said they put Paris in center, instead of one of the corners, because it would be more familiar to him as a middle infielder. “He looks comfortable,” Nevin said.
