9/26/24 Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw gets worrying injury update from Dave Roberts. Will Clayton Kershaw be able to return for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the playoffs? “Dave Roberts said Clayton Kershaw will likely not be a 'viable' option to pitch for at least a couple more weeks,” Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “He hinted that Kershaw might be dealing with something more than just his toe injury, but said he'd let Kershaw address his situation himself.” It goes without saying, but this update is surely not what Dodgers fans wanted to hear.

9/19/24 Dodgers predicted to re-sign two-time All-Star to redemption deal. The Los Angeles Dodgers might have one of the best records in baseball, but they're limping toward the end of the season. Meanwhile, Clayton Kershaw and Tony Gonsolin seem like longshots to make it back in time. Meanwhile, Walker Buehler still has the chance to salvage a shaky season and contribute in the playoffs. Speaking on a recent episode of Dodgers Nation, USA Today's Bob Nightengale predicted that Buehler, a pending free agent, would return to the Dodgers on a single-season deal that gives him the opportunity to prove he can remain healthy and effective.
