(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers managed just 4 hits but still got their fourth straight win with a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Saturday. The Brewers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Gary Sanchez double that scored Brice Turang. The Indians got that run back in the on Josh Naylor's 27th home run of the season in the fourth inning off of Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta. William Contreras answered that with a home run to left center field in the bottom half of the fourth inning to put the Brewers back on top. 7/31/24 Ross roughed up in MIlwaukee Brewers' loss to the Atlanta Braves. (LEARFIELD) – Atlanta batters exploded for four runs in the third inning and the Brewers never were able to catch up in Tuesday's 5-1 loss at American Family Field in Milwaukee. That evens the series at a game apiece. Milwaukee's only run came on a Gary Sanchez single in the bottom of the seventh. The Braves pounded starter and loser Joe Ross and two relievers for 14 hits including a homer by Wisconsin native Jarred Kelenic. 5/30/24 Gary Sanchez blast pushes Brewers past Cubs. Gary Sanchez hit the go-ahead homer and drove in three runs as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the visiting Chicago Cubs 6-4 on Thursday afternoon to take three of four in the series. Sanchez stepped to the plate after Owen Miller's double-play ball seemed to kill a promising rally in the bottom of the eighth. It was Sanchez's seventh homer of the year.

MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers and catcher Gary Sanchez are reportedly closing in on agreeing to a new deal after injury concerns put their previous deal in jeopardy. According to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic, the Brewers reportedly had concerns about Sanchez's wrist, which he fractured last season after being hit by a pitch.
