7/01/24 Former Batting Champion Tim Anderson Finishes June with Historically Wild Month. The Miami Marlins lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 7-6 on Sunday afternoon to continue what has been a dreadful season. After making the playoffs a year ago, Miami has been besieged by pitching injuries and is now 30-54. Along with the Chicago White Sox and Colorado Rockies, they will be knocking on the door of the No. 1 pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. Tim Anderson also went 0-for-5 on Sunday to put the wraps on what is one of the weirdest months in all of baseball history.

6/22/24 Tim Anderson's RBI single in 10th leads Marlins past Mariners 3-2 for 3rd straight walk-off win. Tim Anderson singled in the 10th inning to drive in automatic runner Jake Burger and the Miami Marlins rallied past the Seattle Mariners 3-2 for their third straight walk-off win. Catcher Cal Raleigh couldn't quite handle left fielder Dominic Canzone's throw home and his slight bobble allowed Burger just enough time to slide home safely. It was the Marlins' MLB-leading eighth walk-off win of the season. Anthony Bender worked a scoreless 10th for the win. Bryan De La Cruz and Josh Bell hit consecutive homers in the sixth for Miami.
