7/05/24 | Reds ride hot streak into series vs. Tigers. One step forward followed by a step or two back has been a trend for the Cincinnati Reds this season. The triumph in the Bronx was preceded by a split against the division rival St. Louis Cardinals. Cincinnati won the first and third games of that series, outscoring the Cardinals 20-8, but were shut out in the second and fourth contests. "We responded pretty well after that series against St. Louis," catcher Luke Maile said. Source: https://www.reuters.com/sports/baseball/reds-ride-... |
4/29/24 | 'Solid' Reds head to San Diego for series with Padres. Despite a 4-3 loss Sunday to the Texas Rangers, the Cincinnati Reds feel pretty good about their current situation as they open a three-game series Monday night in San Diego. After all, Cincinnati has a winning record (15-13) at the one-month mark of the season. "Wins-and-losses-wise, we've probably left a couple out there," catcher Luke Maile said. Particularly when left-hander Nick Lodolo (2-0, 2.12 ERA) takes the mound. Source: https://www.reuters.com/sports/baseball/solid-reds... |
