7/06/24 ESPN Identifies Where Commanders Are 'Boosted Significantly' by NFL Draft. It took one offseason following the reign of Ron Rivera as the head coach and decision-maker for the Washington Commanders for the team to look almost completely different. On top of the mostly brand new coaching staff led by new head man Dan Quinn the Commanders have a more traditional general manager arrangement with Adam Peters coming from the San Francisco 49ers and no fewer than 11 potential new starters joining the roster along with several other veterans who will provide fresh depth for the team. Simply put, Washington is not going to look anywhere near what it did the last time we saw it on the field, and the young talent the team is nurturing through the changes could be a catalyst for growing success in the near and longterm future.

7/06/24 Washington Commanders' Cornerbacks Room Ranks Low Across NFL. The Washington Commanders turned everything around this offseason. Now, a full roster can't go from a four-win team to a Super Bowl contender in an offseason (even though the Houston Texans got very close with their seven-win jump last season). The Commanders have a long ways to go in terms of roster-building, but they're on the right track. "The team lost safety Kamren Curl and cornerback Kendall Fuller and hopes that new head coach Dan Quinn can coach up a secondary that does not look great on paper."

7/05/24 Where Washington Commanders Still Need To Add Help Around QB Jayden Daniels. History has shown the Washington Commanders they need a quarterback to truly contend on a yearly basis in the National Football League (NFL). Sure, there are teams who have won Super Bowls with the likes of Trent Dilfer (Baltimore Ravens), Brad Johnson (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), and even Nick Foles (Philadelphia Eagles) who was a backup behind former Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz until injury cost him the rest of his championship season.

7/04/24 Is Washington Commanders Offensive Lineman Sam Cosmi Top 10 in NFL?. While the Washington Commanders have a lot of questions on their offensive line there's one spot they can move forward pretty confident in for 2024. Guard Sam Cosmi was easily the best member of the Commanders offensive line, and is one of the remaining pieces who will look to join forces with three new members from center to left tackle while right tackle Andrew Wylie is back for his second run. Cosmi and Wylie teaming up on the right side give Washington a little security, former Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz is holding down the middle and is expected to be an upgrade, and the left side still has to be figured out.

7/04/24 Veteran Additions Key to Dan Quinn Led Washington Commanders Exceeding Expectations. A lot of people love what the Washington Commanders are doing these days, but that love doesn't always extend to the win-loss column. As more 'too early' mock drafts, predictions, and other similar take-based articles are published it's clear that while the Commanders are drawing a lot of praise the expectation is still that they'll be picking fairly early in the 2025 NFL Draft, and not likely playing postseason football in 2024. “I personally love just about everything the Commanders did this offseason,” Bryan DeArdo wrote in CBS Sports' latest prediction of teams that could beat expectations.
