It seems increasingly likely that will be the case for the entire season after the 29-year-old sprained his ankle on Tuesday while rehabbing a wrist injury, Cardinals manager Oli Marmol told John Denton. The Cardinals had planned for Edman to begin a minor league rehab assignment soon in hopes that he could join the team sometime this summer.
