7/03/24 Travis Kelce reveals why he turned down Netflix 'Receiver' show: 'Way over the reality s---'. Netflix had a hit on its hands last summer when it dropped "Quarterback" and took an inside look at the NFL's top starters and their trials and tribulations through the 2022 season. In 2023, Netflix announced its "Receiver" project, which will debut later this summer. "Receiver" will take an inside look at the 2023 seasons of Justin Jefferson, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Davante Adams and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Travis Kelce was not involved in the project, and he talked about why that was despite being one of the most famous NFL stars thanks to who he has been dating for nearly a year.

7/01/24 Vikings urgency to extend Christian Darrisaw potentially revealed. A few weeks after giving All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson a massive contract extension, Christian Darrisaw has now become the player at the top of the list of guys who people believe the Minnesota Vikings will extend next. Darrisaw has only been in the NFL since 2021, but the former first-round pick plays a premium position at left tackle, and he's unlikely to be cheap for the Vikings to keep around. During his short career, he hasn't been voted to a Pro Bowl roster or selected for an All-Pro team yet, and he's missed multiple games due to injury. Could Minnesota make an attempt to extend Darrisaw in the near future in order to avoid having to pay even more in 2025 if he performs well next season?

6/28/24 Vikings WR Justin Jefferson's path to MVP award clearer than ever in 2024. The National Football League's Most Valuable Player award has been a quarterback-only award for the better part of the last 20-plus years. Since 2000, only four non-quarterbacks have won the award. In the history of the Associated Press MVP award, a wide receiver has never won it. DT Alan Page won the award in 1971, kicker Mark Mosely in a strike-shortened 1982, and edge rusher Lawrence Taylor in 1986 are the only players who didn't play quarterback or running back to win the award.
