7/03/24 Five-run seventh inning powers Syracuse Mets to 8-6 win over Worcester. Down, 6-3, entering the bottom of the seventh inning, the Syracuse Mets scored five two-out runs in the frame en route to an 8-6 victory over the Worcester Red Sox in front of an electric crowd of 9,287 fans at NBT Bank Stadium on Wednesday evening. The Mets now have a 26-16 in front of their home fans so far in the 2024 season. With Brett Baty on second and Rylan Bannon on first with two outs, Pablo Reyes smacked a three-run homer over the left-field fence to boost the Mets to a 3-0 early advantage.

6/28/24 José Butto shines in Syracuse Mets win over Buffalo, 9-4. The Syracuse Mets were a well-balanced machine on Friday night at Sahlen Field, riding steady offense and more brilliant pitching from José Butto to a 9-4 win over the Buffalo Bisons on a mid-70s evening in Western New York. The Mets have now won three out of the first four games in the weeklong, six-game series, outscoring the Bisons 27-15 in the process. One night after scoring just one run on three hits, Syracuse (49-29, 3-1) flipped the script in the top of the first on Friday night. Luisangel Acuña walked to start the game, Brett Baty singled to put two on base, and then Rylan Bannon slugged a three-run homer to make it a 3-0 game just like that.

The Syracuse Mets rode their marquee names to a well-deserved 14-4 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Thursday night at NBT Bank Stadium. Brett Baty and Luisangel Acuña combined for seven hits and seven runs driven in while Dom Hamel tossed six innings of two-run ball as the Mets rallied back from an early deficit to roll over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on a high-80s night at NBT Bank Stadium. With the win, the Mets are now just four games back of first-place Omaha with nine games remaining in the first half of the International League season.

The Syracuse Mets got another boost in their attempt to chase down first place in the International League, scoring the final six runs in a comeback, 8-3 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on a cool night for baseball in mid-June at NBT Bank Stadium. The Mets entered the week just 4.5 games back of first-place Omaha with two weeks remaining in the first half of the International League season. Syracuse (39-24) got on the board in the bottom of the first via a very familiar way. A two-run homer from Brett Baty jolted the Mets out to a 2-0 lead after one inning.
