He joined his sixth organization since February when the San Francisco Giants claimed him off waivers this week . Ingram, a 27-year-old Georgia native, was drafted by the Tigers in the 37th round in 2019. He was released in 2020 and signed a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Angels, eventually making his big-league debut last season. The Tigers claimed Ingram off waivers from the Angels on Feb. 5. Ingram was DFA'd on Sunday, as a corresponding move for Jacob Bosiokovic getting called up. It's been a whirlwind of a season for Ingram, who is currently with his fifth team on the year. Kolton Ingram, who was designated for assignment by the Texas Rangers earlier this week, was claimed by the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, the team announced. The Rangers designated Ingram for assignment on Wednesday as part of a flurry of moves during preparation for their doubleheader with the Oakland Athletics.
