Following the team's 10-8 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday night in which star third baseman Manny Machado hit a walk-off two-run homer, one fan ran onto the field and tried to get in on the fun. The supporter ran next to Machado on the grass at Petco Park and began jumping up and down while recording himself. The San Diego Padres beat the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night thanks to a walk-off home run from star Manny Machado in the bottom of the ninth inning. The win continues a torrid stretch of play for the Padres, who are now 49-43 on the season. For the Diamondbacks, they are now 43-45 on the year and have struggled to recreate the magic of their World Series run from 2023. A Texas Rangers fan dubbed a clown by one of the team's broadcast announcers got kicked out of Wednesday night's game against the Padres. However, he was allowed to come back into Globe Life Field after pleas from opposing San Diego Padres players, including star Manny Machado. During the eighth inning of Texas' game against San Diego in Arlington, Padres hitter and former Ranger Jurickson Profar fouled a ball down the third-base line and behind the dugout where his teammates were located.
