5/30/24 Gary Sanchez blast pushes Brewers past Cubs. Gary Sanchez hit the go-ahead homer and drove in three runs as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the visiting Chicago Cubs 6-4 on Thursday afternoon to take three of four in the series. Sanchez stepped to the plate after Owen Miller's double-play ball seemed to kill a promising rally in the bottom of the eighth. It was Sanchez's seventh homer of the year.

5/07/24 Brewers drop third straight. The offense has gone quiet for the Milwaukee Brewers on the road. After getting shutout by the Chicago Cubs in a series finale at Wrigley Field Sunday, the Brewers were held to just three hits in a 3-2 loss to the Royals in Kansas City Monday. With thunderstorms forecast, the start time was moved up one hour in Missouri. Gary Sanchez put Milwaukee in front with a two run homer in the top of the 4th inning. Starter Bryse Wilson did his job, working through six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while walking three with six strikeouts. 5/06/24 Brewers pursue offensive improvement vs. Royals. The Brewers matched a season low with three hits on Monday and got all their offense on one swing from Gary Sanchez. Milwaukee's Colin Rea (3-0, 2.67 ERA) and Kansas City's Seth Lugo (5-1, 1.60) will take the mound on Tuesday in a matchup of right-handers. Rea allowed four runs on six hits, including a home run to Salvador Perez, with two walks with three strikeouts on May 14, 2023.

Gary Sanchez socked a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the top of the eighth to lift the visiting Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-5 win against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday. Rhys Hoskins went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and William Contreras went 2-for-4 with a home run to help the Brewers split the four-game series. Jared Koenig (1-0) gave up two hits in the seventh inning for the win. Trevor Megill pitched a clean ninth for his first save.
